Black market in front of the former Centrum-Warenhaus department store on Alexanderplatz, its aluminium honeycomb facade was taken down in 2004; to the right the Brunnen der Völkerfreundschaft (Fountain of Friendship amongst Peoples), that was designed by a group of artists led by Walter Womacka and inaugurated in 1970
